Located just 2 miles up the road from our resort, the Retreat Spa is unquestionably one of the best spas in Wales and exclusively available to holiday home owners at Tan Rallt and Bryn Defaid Holiday Park, in addition to any holiday makers who are staying at Tan Rallt. 

You will enjoy complimentary access to the Retreat Spa facilities which are made up of an on-site steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Alternatively, you can simply relax in the warm and cosy environment that our spa complex provides for as long as you feel the need. Here you will be sheltered away from the hustle and bustle, allowing you to switch off your phone and focus on your own needs. 

If you want to enhance the experience, then you are also welcome to book yourself in for a spa treatment with one of our expert therapists who will be able to tailor a treatment to address any specific gripes that you may be suffering. There are also set treatments available to choose from on our spa treatment menu, with hot stone massages and tension release face and scalp massages being just two of the many spa treatments that are available.

Please be aware, that although the facilities are freely available, you will be charged for any spa treatments administered by one of our experts. 

You will find plenty of parking available at Bryn Defaid Holiday Park when you take the short 2 mile drive over to our sister park. Whilst you are visiting, you can opt to make use of our other on-site facilities including our gymnasium and restaurant, The Cliffs Bar & Restaurant, which is open from 5pm daily and offers a wide ranging menu of gastropub classics made up of pizzas, burgers, pies and much more. Prior booking is recommended so that you don’t miss out.

If you are planning to catch up with friends and family on a spa day in Wales off site, then you will find that there are plenty of options available to you. This includes the Kinmel Spa in Abergele which offers a number of different spa day packages, all of which afford access to their on-site facilities for a temporary amount of time. Facilities here include a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, drench showers, steam room and a state of the art gym.

Another option is The Quay Hotel & Spa. This is undoubtedly one of the most popular destinations for spa days in Wales with guests able to enjoy wonderful views overlooking Conwy Marina.
