Our resort is situated close to the famous Snowdonia National Park which presents the ultimate challenge for ramblers. You can attempt to traverse the mountain on foot or take in the scenery on the Snowdonia Mountain Railway which takes you to the very summit of the mountain.
If you are looking for things to do in Colwyn Bay with dogs, then why not head to the nearby Colwyn Bay beach? Sections of the beach permit dogs year round, while the recently renovated promenade offers holiday makers a flat walking route & amazing views.
You can also enjoy the stunning North Wales coastal path on two wheels. There are various bike hire options near Colwyn Bay if you haven’t brought your own bike with you. Buster’s Bikes & Llandudno Bike Hire are just a few of the local businesses to consider.
If you are a fan of golf, then you will find plenty of fantastic golf courses in the North Wales region. One of those located close to Bryn Defaid Holiday Park is Silver Birch Golf Club - a challenging 18 hole course which really makes the most of the surrounding countryside vistas. There are plenty of marvellous castles to visit in North Wales with one of the most celebrated being the nearby Conwy Castle. This 13th century marvel was built by King Edward I and still sits very much at the centre of the town. Coastal views from the top of the towers are not to be missed.
Llandudno is one of the many traditional British seaside destinations in the region around Bryn Defaid Holiday Park. You can take a stroll on the pier and enjoy some traditional fish & chips. Just make sure that you watch out for the pesky seagulls.
